The last Cyberman is an ongoing performative, creative writing and photographic project that explores alienation in contemporary society and the failure of late-capitalism as a governing system of values.
In a lost future, proliferating capitalist values led to a reign of Cybermen - a focus on efficiency drives, profit margins and business ontology. This system was unsustainable and the kingdom of Cybermen collapsed, leaving a landscape of wastelands and vagrant creatures. Only one Cyberman survived, lost and alone in a world he did not understand. He wanders the margins and edge-lands of what was once suburbia, in search of a new purpose and truth to existence.
